LinkByLink - Changes

There were numerous improvements and changes in previous versions of LinkByLink. This list provides a partial overview.

The most important changes in version 2.0.3

• MariaDB was added to the list of database aliases.
• Under OS X the currently active Java version is now being used.

The most important changes in version 2.0.2

• Java 8 is officially supported.
• Fixed a bug in the result statistics display.

The most important changes in version 2.0.1

• The separator in front of the timestamp column was missing in CSV export files.
• The list of predefined browser IDs has been updated.

The most important changes in version 2.0.0

• LinkByLink requires Java 6 or a newer version.
• Except for OS X the Look&Feel of the user interface can be changed.
• The preferences were merged into a single dialog window.
• The link check can be paused.
• Optionally not only web pages but also other resources are loaded.
• The result table was extended by columns with the page encoding, the number of bytes transferred, the load time and the error category.
• The sorting direction is displayed in the table header.
• Links marked as deleted with the del tag are optionally ignored.
• The correction for wrong URLs which point beyond the document root is now optional.
• Checking of email addresses has been improved and is now optional.
• The HTML export lists the active include and exclude filters.
• The list of predefined browser IDs has been updated.
• Pro Edition Only: The results can automatically be saved in the non-GUI mode in order to be loaded in the GUI later.
• Pro Edition Only: When sending the results by email optionally only the statistics are sent.
• Pro Edition only: The context menu offers a function for analyzing HTTP redirects.

• Pro Edition only: Additional database alias hsql for the HSQL database.

• Minor fixes regarding the IDN (Internationalized Domain Name) conversion.
